My Little Pony 4th Birthday Cake

My baby just turned 4 :( She is happy because that means in the Fall she gets to go to school but she's my baby and it makes me sad to see her growing so fast...I'm sure most, if not all of you, can relate!

Olivia is in LOVE with My Little Pony! I mean obsessed!! She got a bunch of the figurines for Easter and plays with them non stop. I'm glad she can and her sister can entertain each other playing with them because I am sick of playing ponies all the time. If she had it her way we'd play ponies all day long!

So of course she wanted a My Little Pony birthday cake. We scoured the internet for pictures but she couldn't find exactly want she wanted so she combined a few cakes she saw to come up with her special birthday cake.

Olivia even got to helped make the flowers and put all the centers in, which she thought was pretty amazing.

The cake is my homemade lemon recipe with raspberry buttercream. All decorations are hand cut from fondant and 100% edible. Twilight sparkle is her favorite pony so she got the privilege of sitting on top.

I can't believe my baby girl is 4

Cinderella Birthday Cake

This cake took me hours to make but I am SOOO HAPPY with how it turned out! It is totally a princess cake fit for a princess :)

I was given the doll by my friend so all I had to do was make the 'dress' and all the figurines. The cake is my homemade perfected lemon recipe with raspberry buttercream filling. All the figurines are fondant and make with tons of L.O.V.E

The top part of Barbie is her actual body suit, but I added the puff sleeves, the necklace and the hairband. The dress is the actual cake! This was my first attempt at a Barbie cake so I am very pleased with a results...I def learned a few things in the process!!

One Direction Birthday Cupcakes

These cupcakes were made for my cousin! I didn't even really know who D1 was...I've heard their songs on the radio but I didn't know they were a boy band lol. Thank goodness for Google!

The cuppies were chocolate cake with vanilla icing and all fondant decorations! These faces took me forever and I wanted to smash everyone because they didn't turn out as well as I had hoped :( There's always next time right!!

I had some extra cupcakes so I made a few for my husband to snack on.
Chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream topped with caramel, fudge, dark chocolate shavings and an oreo cookie :)

Rubber Boots Birthday Cake

These boots are made from 100% rice krispy treats! The birthday girl is a very fun and energetic person so I thought a bright green would be an awesome color for them!

The rkt are hand carved, covered in chocolate and then fondant!
