Baby Shower Cupcakes - Little Monkey

I think these little cuppies are adorable.
Chocolate cupcakes are topped with vanilla buttercream dyed blue and topped with handmade fondant monkeys and 'Little Man' imprinted fondant disc'

Mickey Mouse 1st Birthday Cake

The whole time I was making this cake I was singing the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse song LOL.




I had so much fun making this cake for a friends son's first brithday. They wanted to go with a Mickey Mouse theme and they had this design in mind.



The cake is a 6" and a 8" vanilla cake filled with chocolate mousse pudding. The entire cake is edible, even the Mickey Mouse & the '1' on top. I was so happy with how mickey turned out, he was perfect until I steamed him and his shorts started to rip a bit from the weight of the water...so sad :( I love the design of this cake!!

Dinosaur Cake

I was asked to make a 5th birthday cake for a friends son who is in love with dinosaurs. We looked at a few design options and decided to go with a T-Rex/volcano scene.



I wasn't sure how I was going to make the T-Rex look real. I hand cut him out of fondant and after lots of playing, dotting, coloring and layering I got something that I thought could pass as a dinosaur. All the decorations are made from fondant and are 100% edible.



The 8" square cake is vanilla and is filled with cookies and cream buttercream.
