These cute little bunnies were made for our Easter Dinner on Sunday night. I'll post pictures of the presentation later on, it's gonna be super cute!

These little guys are made from my tasty sugar cookie recipe and are decorated using my homemade royal icing recipe.

Wishing you all a safe and happy Easter :)

Angry Birds Birthday Cake

This 8" cake was made for a friends son's 6th birthday. The cake is vanilla and filled with cookies and cream filling. Cake is covered in homemade fondant and the decorations are fondant as well. The birds - if that's what you call them?? - are all made made.

Considering I had no idea what an angry bird was I think I did a fairly good job....and no I don't live under a rock. I'm not in the cell phone world and had no idea it was a game until my 6 year old informed me lol

Birch Bark Shower Cake

Here is another recent shower cake I've made recently.

The mom to be has art deco's in the baby's room of birch trees and yellow birds so I was asked to make the cake to match the nursery.

The cake is two tiers, a 8" bottom and 6" top. The top cake is vanilla with vanilla buttercream filling, the bottom is vanilla cake with cookies and cream filling.

This was my first attempt at 'birch trees' I'm fairly happy with how they turned out. They took FOREVER to make. All the trees are hand cut and hand painted, the branches are piped on. The nest was created with fondant rolled into individual sticks and then built into a nest. Next time I'll make them thinner..lesson learned but again another first.

I've been asked a few times to shower how I stack my cakes so I took a few pictures...I honest mend to take them as I did each step but I totally forgot....Maybe the next time I make a stacked cake I'll remember!

Two Peas in a Pod Shower Cake

My sister-in-law had twins!! A boy and girl, the million dollar family! I am so unbelievably happy for them, they actually just got to leave the hospital today and start their life as a family of four at home!!

I'm a little behind posting but this is my SIL shower cake and goodies!
The theme for the shower was 'Two Peas in a Pod'. My mother-in-law and I found a similar picture online and thought it would be PERFECT for Allison's shower.
The cake is two tiers, an 8" bottom and a 6" top.  Both cakes are vanilla and strawberry with vanilla and strawberry buttercream filling.

All decorations are made from homemade fondant and are 100% edible and handmade. So much work went into this cake.

I also make some cookies and cake balls. The cookies are decorated in royal icing and chocolate. The 'G'  is for Grace and the 'J' is for new niece and nephew :)

Birdie Baby Shower Cake

So many babies have been born the last little while! So I've been busy making baby shower cakes!!
This shower cake was created for a family member. The theme was bases on napkins and plates bought by my mother-in-law.

The cake was an 8" vanilla filled with strawberry and passion fruit filling . The cake is covered in fondant and all decorations are fondant and handmade.

I also made a bunch of  decorated sugar cookies and various cake balls. The cookies are decorated in royal icing and chocolate.

Hello Kitty Birthday Cake

This 8" Hello Kitty cake was made for a friends daughter. The cake was vanilla and filled with faux vanilla pudding dyed pink.

Piping is the one thing I don't like to do because I suck at it. I guess the only way I'm going to get better is if I practice right. The whole cake is covered and decorated in buttercream icing.
