Horse Inspired 1st Birthday Party - Pink Rose Buttercream Cake with Horse Sugar Cookies and Cowgirl Boots

This order was so much fun, so labor intensive and exhausting all at the same time lol!
I was asked to make an 8" cake, a smash cake, 24 cupcakes, 15 cake pops, 15 decorated horse cookies and 15 decorated cowgirl cookies.

The theme for the party was Horsy / Farm Girl, so cute and the mom did an amazing job pulling everything together!

The 8" cake was chocolate with cookies and cream filling covered in pretty pink buttercream roses. The horse cake topper and all the display was provided by the mom. Photo credits go to Amanda Rowden from Lasting Memories By Amanda Rowden

White and Pink Bridal Shower Cake

One of my best friends is getting married at the end of the summer and I am so excited for her!

We recently had her bridal shower and guess who got to make the cake :) Picking the design for this cake has actually really hard. Between the mother of the bride, the maid of honor and myself we couldn't decide on a cake. After much debate we decided to go with something simple but bright.
My friend Chelsea is a very bright, fun and loveable soul. Whenever I think of her I think hot pink lol

The 3 tiered cake was so fun make and design. All 3 tiers were lemon cake with raspberry buttercream and all covered n fondant. All the flowers are made of fondant and the lilies were hand made.

Chels L.O.V.E.S cake pops and I always promise her I'll make her some. So it goes without saying I had to make her some for her shower. Cake pops were chocolate and vanilla

Olivia's 2nd Birthday Cake

2nd Birthday Monkey Cake

My baby just turned two....oh my! I still can't believe it. It feels like yesterday I was just looking into her little eyes and holding her little hands. It wasn't long before she became our little monkey :)

To go along with her nickname I decided to make a monkey cake for her.

2nd Birthday Monkey Cake

The top tier is a dummy tier made from rice krispy treats and covered in fondant.
The bottom tier is a carved 8" square chocolate cake filled with two layers of vanilla buttercream and a layer of chocolate fudge. The cake is covered in fondant and decorated with fondant flowers and dots. The monkey was hand cut.

Since I carved the 8" square cake into a round I had scrape pieces of cake. I mixed those with some icing and made them into matching cake pops for the guests.
