Guess Wallet 30th Birthday Cake
The wallet on this cake was so much fun to make. I was sent a picture of a wallet and asked to replicate it. The colors for the party were white, black and a hint of hot pink. The cake also had to be girly and glamorous. This is the design I came up with. The wallet is made from rice kripy treats, covered in vanilla buttercream and then covered in hot pink fondant. All the decorations are edible.
This is the picture of the wallet I was sent.
This is my version of the wallet.
The 8" cake is chocolate and filled with a raspberry buttercream. The fondant was being rather difficult as it was so humid but I'm happy with how the cake turned out.
1st Birthday Cake
The weather has been so hot and humid the last week making cakes and covering them in fondant has been rather challenging! It took a lot of patience on my part and a few times rolling out the fondant to get results that looked okay. Fondant and humidity do not mix well!! I think some A/C may be in order!!
This 10" chocolate cake is filled with cookies and cream filling and covered in blue fondant.
All the decorations are made from fondant.

Tinkerbell 5th Birthday Party!!
My daughter just turned the big 5 so we had to celebrate in a big way. Trying to get a 4 year old to decide on a cake was very time consuming and very frustrating...to say the least. Hailey changed her mind at least 15 times. Finally she thought Tinkerbell would make the best birthday cake.
The cake is layered chocolate and vanilla and filled with vanilla and milk chocolate fudge.
The cake is covered in a layer of buttercream and then a layer of purple fondant.
All the decorations are fondant except the Tinkerbell candle on the top.
I also made purple cake pops and marshmallow pops as party favors.
